DraftKings is The NBA’s Official Betting Operator

DraftKings is a sports betting provider that includes daily fantasy sports contests. It has been widely popular for some time now. It’s something I just started using not too long ago and I completely love playing. While I do both NFL and NBA daily fantasy sports contests, DraftKings has agreed to a multi-year deal with the NBA to be their official sports betting operator.

Ezra Kucharz, the chief business officer at DraftKings, said this about the deal:

“NBA games are among the most captivating, dramatic and widely-consumed sports entertainment products globally, and the advocacy of the league around legal sports betting further demonstrates its consistent foresight to innovate for the betterment of the fan experience,” said Ezra Kucharz, “The correlation between sports betting and fan engagement is proven, and we look forward to the opportunities that being an Authorized Gaming Operator of the NBA will unlock for consumers.”

Scott Kaufman-Ross, Senior Vice President of the Head of Fantasy & Gaming of the NBA said this about the agreement:

With DraftKings having this move, they only solidify themselves as being a reliable sports betting company. While MGM has the throne on betting games and other sports betting, like who will be drafting #1 in the 2020 NFL Draft, DraftKings has put themselves at the number 2 spot for fantasy betting over their longtime rival FanDuel. It’ll be interesting to see what will change as far as the betting goes for DraftKings in the NBA category. I will for one keep my eye on it as I am about to fill out a lineup for the NBA games tonight.
